Dr Kevin S. Decker has been on the faculty at EWU since 2005. He primarily teaches applied ethics and the history of philosophy, but has also taught First Year Experience seminars as well as for the Honors program. His recent publications include “Dune and Philosophy” (editor) and “Star Wars and Philosophy Strikes Back” (co-editor). With EWU English professor emeritus Tony Flinn, he writes, co-produces, and acts in “Men in Charge in Brief(s),” a weekly short comedy segment airing on Spokane Public Radio. Most recently, he was declared “out of order” at Eastern’s Faculty Senate, fulfilling a lifelong dream of his.
