Grace Butler is a fiction writer from Waterbury Center, Vermont. She is pursuing an MFA at the University of Montana after spending several years living in the North Cascade Mountains of Washington. She holds a BFA in Environmental Humanities from Whitman College (2018), where she was a Sherwood Scholar and Semester in the West student. She is currently at work on her first novel, which is set in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
