Ben Cartwright is the author of the poetry collection After Our Departure (Sage Hill Press) and the poetry chapbook The Meanest Things Pick Clean (Floating Bridge). His work appears in West Branch, The Stinging Fly, DIAGRAM, and Seneca Review. Ben is a professor at Spokane Falls Community College. His dog Augustus was recently sprayed by a skunk.
