Get Crit!: Dungeons and Dragons LIVE

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We are so excited to present Get Lit!’s second-annual live Dungeons & Dragons game! In the past few years, TV shows like Strangers Things along with the rise in popularity of the fantasy genre has brought this involved role-playing-game to the center of the pop culture zeitgeist. At the intersection of collaborative storytelling, voice acting, and improv, players work together to fight battles, solve mysteries, and create long lasting friendships with their fellow players. Whether you’re playing or participating in a game of D&D, there is sure to be excitement and adventure for all.
This year’s game features Dungeon Master Justice Ramin Arman who will be running a campaign from Wizards of the Coast’s Keys to the Golden Vault, a 9th-level train heist titled “Affair on the Concordant Express.” Arman is an experienced DM and professional game designer. Players include Travis Baldree, local author and audiobook narrator; Dr. Melissa Bedford, literacy professor and advocate; Greg Tito, author, podcastor and screenwriter; Shelly Mazzanoble, professional D&D writer; and Dahveed Bullis, actor, director, and co-founder of the Spokane Playwrights Lab. This event was envisioned by EWU’s Dr. Terrance MacMullan who will be our host.

To attend this event, you must purchase a Book Fair & Events Pass which covers entry into our two-day Book Fair and all 17 events taking place at the Montvale Event Center. Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 20th at 8am.

Surveys help our program obtain critical grant funding. Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete our survey after you've attended any of our events! If you enjoyed your experience and want to donate to our program, please use this link!
