Join Missoula based writers Laramie Dean and Gwendolyn N. Nix, for a reading and panel discussion focused on representations of diverse sexual and gender identities in speculative fiction. Gwendolyn is the author of the Celestial Scripts Series (The Falling Dawn, and Seams of Shadow), Sharks of the Wasteland, and the recently released western horror, I Have Asked To Be Where No Storms Come. Laramie is writer of queer horror fiction and the director of theater at Hellgate High School in Missoula. Laramie’s first novel, Black Forest, was published by Inkshares in 2022. Following their readings, Laramie and Gwendolyn will discuss how working within the genres of horror, science fiction, and post-apocalyptic fiction offers spaces for traditionally underrepresented writers.

To attend this event, you must purchase a Book Fair & Events Pass which covers entry into our two-day Book Fair and all 17 events taking place at the Montvale Event Center. Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 20th at 8am.
