Dragon Talk: A Conversation on D&D

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

If you haven’t noticed, Dungeons & Dragons has been quickly rising in popularity over the last few years and we at Get Lit! can certainly understand why! Players from many different backgrounds are connected by their shared love of storytelling, collaborative gameplay, and adventure. With the added element of improv and performance, D&D requires writers to think off the page and onto the stage, making it quite the challenging feat. We are thrilled to be hosting two D&D events again this year, starting with this conversation with writers, podcasters, and D&D enthusiasts Shelly Mazzanoble and Greg Tito. Through this conversation, led by Dr. Terrance MacMullan, EWU Philosophy professor and D&D expert, we will learn more about the official D&D podcast Welcome to Dragon Talk, and how Shelly and Greg turned their interviews into a published collection. Join us to learn more about this exciting D&D wave that is crashing all over our country and beyond! Make sure to also join Shelly, Greg, Terry and others (including DM Justice Ramin Arman) for the LIVE D&D game on Sunday morning!

To attend this event, you must purchase a Book Fair & Events Pass which covers entry into our two-day Book Fair and all 17 events taking place at the Montvale Event Center. Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 20th at 8am.

Surveys help our program obtain critical grant funding. Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete our survey after you've attended any of our events! If you enjoyed your experience and want to donate to our program, please use this link!
