Spark Central Book Release with the Salish School

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Join Spark Central and the Salish School in celebrating the release of their book Sn̓ilíʔtn̓: Writing about Home. This book was created through an exploratory, three-session poetry and short prose workshop where participants learned elements of the Salish language and dove into perspectives of heritage and home with the help of instructor LaRae Wiley from Spokane's Salish School and poet Laura Read. This event will be hosted by LaRea and Laura and will include readings from Sn̓ilíʔtn̓: Writing about Home. We would like to thank Spark Central for their continued partnership.

This event is free and open to the public, no tickets required.
